Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When can I come to the media center?
A: Students can stop by the Media Center before or after school (no pass needed). During school hours, bring a pass or a teacher!
Q: How do I look up a book?
A: Our online catalog is called Destiny. You can reach it through the Resources section for Students on this website! You may search Destiny by book title, author, keyword, etc.
Q: How long may I keep the books I check out?
A: Books are overdue if you keep them longer than one month. Bring them back to avoid a fine!
Q: Can I donate books to the Media Center?
A: Books in good condition that meet our collection development guidelines are welcome additions to our Media Center.
Q: Can I volunteer in the Media Center?
A: 8th Grade students who want to help in the Media Center have the opportunity to choose it as an elective class. Parents or other community members- we would love your help! Please give us a call.
Q: How do I reserve time or space in the Media Center?
A: Check out our calendar under the Teachers tab on this website. There is a form you can use to request the Media Center.
Q: I came by the library but you were closed. What's up with that?
A: While I try to keep the library open as much as possible, I am only one person serving many. Sometimes I am pulled away for a meeting or to teach. When that happens, I have to close our doors.
